He was predeceased by: his father William Liang. He is survived by: his wife Hyesuk Liang; his children, Alyssa Liang (Grant Combs) and Alexander Liang; his grandson Khan Combs; his mother Bonnie Fukuda; and his sister Helen Liang. He is also survived by extended family & friends.

“Larry, my brother, & Al are two years older than me. We attended Galileo high together. They were the best of friends joining ROTC together. I always thought of Al as older maybe because he was just more mature and responsible! As the story goes, Al’s sister, Helen, married my brother. Since Al moved to Kentucky, I personally lost touch with him. I do want his family to know that he is part of my very fond memories and that his gentle and kind nature will be missed. May Al RIP…”
