He was predeceased by : his parents James and Onie Cavins Looney; his wife Deborah Saunders; and his siblings, Howard Murphy, Van Ratliff, Eulean Looney, Billy Gene Looney, Marie Ratliff, Betty Jane Thacker and Barbara Sue Bartley.
He is survived by : his daughters, Ronda Merritt of Elkhorn City and Carnetta Coleman (Rob) of Knoxville, TN.; his siblings, James Looney of Ashcamp, Shelma Adkins of Ashcamp, Jewelene Adams of Elkhorn City, Adrienne Swiney of Draffin and Lucille Coleman of Draffin; his granddaughters, Terra Stewart and Emily Coleman; and his great grandchild Alayna Stewart.
