He is survived by: his wife Joan Ratliff Edmonds; his sister Moody Broadcasting; his children, Gregory Dean Edmonds (Gay), Paula Kaye McCarty (Joey) and Charles Kevin Edmonds (Kristi); and his grandchildren, Kasey Elizabeth McCarty (Jordan), Hollie Leigh Anne McCarty, Joshua Nelson McCarty, Hannah McKenzie Edmonds, Zachary Caleb Edmonds, Michael Clyde Page, Anna Victoria Page and Paul "Andy" Anderson Abshire.
