He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Evans and Dova Evans (Ousley); his daughter Kimberly Dawn Evans; and his sister Carolyn Christian. He is survived by: his children, Jim Evans Jr. (Corissa) of Franklin, NC and Kristine Dingess (Chuck) of Hardy, KY; and his siblings, Alex Evans Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA, Mary Spears of Man and W. Va (Sharon Ellis). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
