It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hatler Slone (Raccoon, Kentucky), born in Kimper, Kentucky, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathanial David Slone and Faris Layne Slone; his daughter JoAnn Slone of Kimper, Kentucky; his grandson Jonathan "Punk" Eddie Chapman of Kimper; and his siblings, Lola Ermaline Harris, Bernistene Johnson, Thelma Mae Varney, Gladys Smith, Josephine Slone, Elster Lee of John Worth, Willie E. C., Willard Alonzo and Hansel Slone.
He is survived by: his wife Grace; his daughters, Debbie Wilson (Jerry) of Elizabethton and Donna Damron (Keith) of Nicholasville, Kentucky.; and his grandchildren, Aaron Damron of Nicholasville, Anthony Damron (Maggie) of Winchester and Alexis Combs (Trevor) of Lawrenceburg. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
