He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Young and Gusta Young (Ray); his former wife Joyce Hope Young (Williamson); and his brother James Young. He is survived by: his wife Mae Young (Newsome-Frasure); his stepsons, Delmer Frasure of Grethel and Elmer Frasure of Grethel; and his brothers, Virgil Young of Hardy, KY, Larry Young of Brushy Road, Gary Young of Brushy Road and Danny Young of Brushy Road. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
