She is survived by: her children, Dennis Akers (Jamie Alvarado) of South Portsmouth, KY, Kenny Ashcraft of Garrison, KY, Tammy Ervin (Thomas) of Russells Point, Carissa Faye Hamblin of Charleston, SC and Alexis Akers of South Portsmouth, KY; her sister Elizabeth Carpenter of Hamilton; and her grandchildren, Bradley Akers, Ashley Akers, Michelle, Kenyon, Kendra, Garrett Ashcraft, Aaron and Kayla Ervin.
