With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Lewis of Putney, Kentucky, who passed away on October 21, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Lewis; her parents, Hagar Ball and Stella Ball; and her daughter Stella Darlene Byrd. She is survived by: her children, Steven Lewis (Melinda) of Baxter and Sherry Hartlove (Woody) of Baxter; her granddaughters, Stephanie Kidwell (Cole) of Baxter and Leeanna Lewis of Johnson City, TN; her great grandchild Natalyn Kidwell; and her siblings, Ralph Ball (Ella) of Jacksboro, TN, Judy Lewis of Hamilton, OH, Linda Lutton of Cawood and Trula Day (Dewayne) of Totz.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home (122 N Cumberland Ave, Harlan, KY 40831). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Putney Bible Church. A burial was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at the Ball Cemetery.
