He was predeceased by: his parents, Cohen Gilmore and Thelma Spivey Gilmore; and his siblings, Cohen Gilmore Jr., Daniel Gilmore, Roosevelt Hudson, Mattie Hudson, Bernice McIntosh and Barbara Jean Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Marvin Gilmore (Tiffany) of Nortonville, Patsy Gilmore of Hopkinsville, Elizabeth Ann Gilmore Gray of Madisonville and Thelma Gilmore of Providence; his brothers, Neil Gilmore of Wadley, James Gilmore (Blanche) of Warner Robins and Myles Gilmore of Wadley; his brother-in-law Leon Starks of Evansville, Indiana; his sisters, Elma C. Swint of Savannah, Nola Gilmore of Brooklyn and Addie Lee Brinson of Wadley, Georgia; and his stepchildren, Gloria Wilson of Providence and Perry Gilmore Starks of Madisonville. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
