He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Owen Gipson and Elois Faye Gipson Gamblin (McVay); his stepparents, Diane Gipson and Bill Gamblin; his son Kevin Gipson; his grandchildren, Bethany and Shakobe Cornell; and his siblings, Mitsy Gipson, Steve Gamblin and Etna Gamblin.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Gipson (Thompson) of Wethersfield; his children, Jessica Williams of Clay, Matt, Jamie Galbraith of Nortonville, Ronnie, Katie Gipson of Eddyville, Chris, Brooke Gipson of Crossville, Jeffrey Thompson of Madisonville, Mickey Gipson of White Plains and Andrew Gipson of Wethersfield; and his siblings, Roger (Debi Hogan), Billy Gipson of Nortonville, Goble (Lisa Gipson), Jessica Simms of Nortonville, Bruce (Dolora Gipson), Jennifer (Justin Underwood), Joe Gipson of Nortonville and Jessie (Jillian Gipson). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Green Grove Cemetery (258 Hillview Rd, Providence, KY 42450).
