He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wolfe and Eura Wolfe (Hale); his husband Edgar Gaither; his daughter Lucita; and his siblings, Estella and Costella.
He is survived by: his daughter Anita Johnson (Bobby); his grandsons, Craig Johnson (Stacey) and Greg Johnson (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Darian, Brock, Olivia, Shelby, Elly, Casey and Roman; his nephews, Aaron Thompkins, William Wolfe and George Wolfe; his niece Elayne McNeil (Don); and his sister Mary Florence Slaten. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
