She was predeceased by: her parents, George Messamore and Alma Etta Messamore; her husband Roy Gobin; her grandson Jeff Gobin; and her brothers, Jewell Messamore and Jesse Messamore.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Gobin, Ricky Gobin (Janet), Bobby Gobin (Laura) and Frankie McDowell (Ezra). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
