It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Loretta Brooks of Providence, Kentucky, born in Webster, Kentucky, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lee Brooks; and her children, Joyce Frederick and Robert Earl Brooks. She is survived by: her children, Betty Yarbrough of Jackson, MO and Morris Wayne (Loretta); and her sister Barbara Jo Chaney of Henderson, KY. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the First Methodist Church in Providence at 111 Cedar Street, Providence KY 42450.
