She is survived by: her parents, James E. Canty Sr. and Billie Ann Canty of Kissimmee, Florida; her son David Soukup of Clay, KY; and her siblings, Donna Scharver of Duncan, Susan Powles of Kissimmee, Florida and James Canty Jr. of Asheville. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; with several nieces and nephews.
