She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvil Powell and Hazel Dee Powell; and her former husband Bobby Perry. She is survived by: her husband Jim Newcomb; her son Bob Ray Perry; her sister Lorna Martin of Eureka, MO; her brother-in-law Jimmy; her sister Christy Newcomb of Eddyville, KY; her granddaughter Katie (Steve); her great grandchild Atlas Berryman of Kansas City, MO; her granddaughter Bobbie Rae Crabtree of Marion, IL; and her stepgrandchildren, Matthew Newcomb (Tennessee) and Katie Newcomb (Spain).

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home Providence Chapel (301 N Broadway St, Providence, KY 42450). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.

Always willing to help wherever needed - teaching a class, helping in the kitchen, opening her lovely home up for a ladies' day at the lake or hosting a great fish fry.
