We are sad to announce that on December 7, 2024, at the age of 92, Joe Edd Young in Providence, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, A. W. Young and Fannie Mae Owsley Young; his former wife Shirley Young; his wife Ruth Young; and his sister Mary Ashby.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Patrick Young (Suzanne) of Kevil, KY, LeVerda Jo Wallace (Willie) of Louisville, KY, Terri Hyatte (Ron) of Kevil, KY and Teddi Powell (Larry) of LaCenter, KY; and his sister Betty Griffin of Kevil, KY. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
