We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2021, at the age of 83, Jerry McElvain of Providence, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil McElvain and Evelyn Mitchell McElvain; and his brothers, Basil McElvain Jr. and Ben McElvain. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Hammond McElvain of Providence; his children, Gerri Lynn Moore (Jerry) of Providence, Jessica Utley of Providence and Carl Wayne McElvain (Sammie) of Paducah, KY; and his siblings, Carolyn Mayes of Greenville, KY, Glenda Kenneday of South Carolina, Marie Nesi of Illinois and Don Patrick McElvain of Illinois. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
