She is survived by: her children, Mona Simms of Providence, Lilly Marlin of Lexington, KY and Randall Simms of Providence; her stepson Alonzo Simms of East Chicago, IN; and her grandchildren, Jaysuma Simms (Cassandra) of Chattanooga, TN, David Simms of Harlan, KY and Marqueta McMickens of Clarksville, IN. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a dearly loved extended family.
