We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2024, at the age of 76, Doris Ann McVay of Providence, Kentucky, born in Whiteland, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Russell Burgess and Doris Lorrene Laue Burgess; her sister Wanda Green; and her granddaughter Laura Brooksher. She is survived by: her husband Leamon Roy McVay of Providence, KY; her children, Bobbie Skimehorn (Adrian) of Crittendon Co, KY, Susan Adams of Providence, Beth-Ann McVay of Providence and Steven R. Grimes; and her siblings, Kathy Poore (Gary) of Livermore, KY, Janice Sosh (Johnny) of Whiteland, KY, Carolyn Phillips of Calhoun, KY and John Burgess of Calhoun. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
