He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hatler; his children, Carla Carpeneitti of Springville, AL and Carl T. Hatler of Madisonville; his grandchildren, Brandi Gudwien (Chad) of Birmingham, AL, Zachary Thomas (Jade) of Slaughters, Lauren Thomas Hanor (Daniel) of Slaughters and Lance Thomas of Henderson; and his great grandchildren, Logan Gudwien of Birmingham, AL, Calen Gudwien of Birmingham, AL and Cynthia Michelle Thomas of Slaughters.
