William Skaggs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Skaggs of Prospect, Kentucky, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Martin H. Skaggs and Hazel Walden Skaggs; his wife Elizabeth Jean Spears Skaggs; his daughter Janice Jones Skaggs; and his sister Joan Amis.
He is survived by: his son Dr. William Martin Skaggs (Mechele) of Prospect; and his grandchildren, Julia Akhtarekhavari (Jason), Melanie Straney (Derek), Matthew Skaggs (Samantha) and James Skaggs. He is also survived by his three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
