He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbert Simpson and Grace Simpson; his wife Barbara Lynn Simpson; and his brother Robert (Julie Inskeep).

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the North Oldham Lions Club (12414 W U. S. Hwy 42, Prospect, KY 40059).
