The memory of Shelby Durham of Prospect, Kentucky, who passed away on November 24, 2024 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Wilburn and Ercel Wilburn; and her husband Clarence Durham. She is survived by: her children, Linda Proffitt (Jim) and Jim Durham (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Gracie Proffitt Barrios (Davis), Nathan Proffitt, Rachel Proffitt Teater (Bryce), Emily Durham, Ben Durham and Tyler Durham; and her great grandchild Chloe Rae Barrios.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Stoess Funeral Home (6534 State Hwy 22, Crestwood, KY 40014). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at the Floydsburg Cemetery (5600 Old Floydsburg Rd, Crestwood, KY 40014).
