She was predeceased by: her husband James McKinney; her son James Garvin McKinney; her grandson Joshua James McKinney; her siblings, Martha Noel, Ruth Noel Turner (Wilson Turner), Joe Noel (Mary Margaret McCombs) and Leonard Noel (Stella McKinney Noel); her son-in-law Charles Brockman; and her parents, Herman Noel and Janie Parrish Noel.
She is survived by: her children, Sara McKinney, Joseph Wayne McKinney (Carolyn Carraco McKinney) and Barbara McKinney Brockman; her daughter-in-law Mary; and her grandchildren, Wayne McKinney (Tammy Riddle McKinney), Christopher McKinney (Krista Yocum McKinney), Mary Beth Gardner (Bill Denkoff) and Emily Bush (Brian Hatton). She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
Those who wish to donate in memory of Mary may gift Brownsboro Community Center, the one-room schoolhouse that Mary attended as a child and supported as a member when it became a venue for Oldham Countians to come together for activities, special occasions, and events that celebrate family and community.
