With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen A. Almester (Prospect, Kentucky), who passed away on May 25, 2019 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hurst and Margaret Hurst (Osborn); her husband Richard Almester; and her brother Robert Hurst Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Michael Pavuk III (Pamela) and Kristina Kohlhofer (Kirk); her grandchildren, Shyanne Kohlhofer and Jake Pavuk; her great grandchild Paisley Giesler; and her sister-in-law Judy Hurst.

Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
