He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Wells; and his father-in-law Jimmy Garber. He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his sons, Jack and Luke; his father Von Wells; his siblings, Paul Taylor (Sue), April Wells Kendall (Mark Smythe) and Kevin Wells (Lisa); his mother-in-law Patsy Garber; his brother-in-law Wes Garber; his niece Bobbi Jo Beverly; and his nephews, Matthew Wells, Bryce Kendall and Brett Kendall.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ratterman Brothers (12900 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church (6500 St Bernadette Ave, Prospect, KY 40059).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (https://givenow.lls.org) (PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087) a cause close to Dean's heart.
