He is survived by: his spouse Bethel Williams Yates; his children, Brian Yates (Phyllis) of Martin, Kentucky and Renee Conway (Randy) of Galveston, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Justin Yates (Samantha), Ryan Yates, Joshua Yates, Colby Conway (April) and Brandon Conway; his great grandchildren, Tandon Yates, Aiden Yates, Morgan Yates and Serenity Conway; and his siblings, Tim Yates (Louise), Carter Yates, Denzel Junior Yates, Connie Mullins (Estill), Pearl Yates (Ralph), Nadine Harold (Mike) and Helen Isaac.
