He was predeceased by: his parents, William Haney and Edna Riggs Haney; and his sisters, Alice Hayes and Virginia Cole. He is survived by: his children, Tonya Haney of Wilkesboro, Ann Haney Williams of Wilkesboro, Angel Clonch of Clinton, Amanda Williams of Winston-Salem and Shannon Haney of Raleigh; and his siblings, Linda Hanner of Asheville, Julia Brinson of Virginia, Gary Haney of North Wilkesboro and Ken Haney of Elkin. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
