He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Skipworth Martin; his parents, Melvin Ellis Martin and Izetta Southard Cash; his brother Donald Evans Martin; and his half-brothers, Clifton Martin and Willie Martin.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Ellen Tucker (Barry) of Elkton; his brother Kenneth Martin of Eddyville; and his grandchildren, Kody Tucker, Rhyan Giroux and Scott Giroux. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
