She was predeceased by: her husband Maxie Gerald "Fuzzy" Cotton; her parents, John Albert Kennedy and Harvey Amos Mitchell Kennedy; her son Jerry Cotton; her sister Mary Smalley; her sister-in-law Ava Kennedy of Cadiz; and her brothers, Albert Kennedy and Raymond Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Truitt (Todd) of Paducah, Gerald Cotton of Lyon County and Ray Cotton (Brenda) of Caldwell County; her siblings, Marie Francis (Rex) of Hopkinsville, Velva Yeomans of Paducah, Faye Fox (Billy) of Cadiz and Buddy Kennedy of Grand Rivers; her brother-in-law Billy R. Smalley; and her grandchildren, Alisha Runyon, Clay Cotton, Tyler Truitt, Max Truitt, Jeremiah Shaw and Jaylan Walker.
