He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Ann Hanvy; and his parents, Elbert Cecil Hanvy and Marie Hanvy (McKennon). He is survived by: his children, Troy Nicholas Hanvy (Carla) of Texas and Giovanna Franks (Hanvy) of Princeton; his sisters, Patsy Spivey and Judy Clegg; his grandchildren, Nicholas of Ryan, BJ, Jessica, Caane and Houston; and his niece Darlene Ortt (A. B.) of Princeton. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
