She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Chestley and Ernestine May Farris Troop; her significant other Terry Floyd; and her siblings, Elain Vervoort, Rodney Troop and Darrell Troop.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Bannister of Bagdad, KY, Richard "Ricky" Thompson (Denise) of Providence, Ramon "Woodie" Thompson (Sherry) of Princeton and James "Freddie" Thompson of Madisonville; and her sisters, Lois Dickerson (Allen) of Madisonville, Darla Monroe of Madisonville and Eva Vaught (Gene) of Georgia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
