He was predeceased by: his parents, John Yandell and Beulah Croft Yandell; and his siblings, Martha Jean Yandell and Jack Yandell. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Yvonne Cochran Yandell; his daughters, Denise Pool (Buddy) of Princeton, Melissa Pressley (Conrad) of Princeton and Michelle Flood (Bill) of Princeton; his sister Sue Simms of Princeton; and his great grandchild Riley Flood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
