She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hawkins and Helen Stephens Hawkins; her husband Wayne Thompson; and her siblings, Betty Jane Baird, Martha Kilgore, Jackie Hawkins and Bobby Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Jones (Jeff) and Matt Cartwright; her sister Connie Robertson; her grandchildren, Ramsey Hopper (Chelsea), Elijah Anderson (Jessie), Gracie Curtis (Taylor), Maggie Pelletier (Joseph), Samm Peek and Jake Jones (Tori); and her great grandchildren, Addi Hopper, Preston Peek, Chloe Hopper, Brooks Curtis, Beau Curtis, Hudson Jones, Harper Jones, Barrett Curtis, Elliot Anderson, Kit Pelletier, Ellis Anderson, Meredith Pelletier and Parker Pelletier. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Morgan's Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Princeton, KY 42445). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
