He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Franklin and Mildred Francis Patterson Cooper; and his brothers, Lonnie Cooper and Elvis "Cookie" Cooper. He is survived by: his children, Lanell Cooper of Princeton and Brad Cooper of Princeton. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
