It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Lagora Lewis of Princeton, Kentucky, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Shuman and Ruth Tucke Shuman; her husband Danny Lewis; her brothers, Spencer Shuman, Eddie Shuman and Dennis Shuman; and her stepgreat-grandchild Braxlyn Marie Grace Prowell.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Dieser of Ohio, Diane Smith of Florida, Brenda Edge of Florida, Mary Lou Barfield of North Carolina, Melissa Fowler (Ken) of Princeton, Holly Turpin (Bobby) of Princeton and John Halter of Ohio; her siblings, Sondra Nash of Ohio, Linda Shuman Johnson of Ohio and Timmy Shuman of West Virginia; and her stepdaughters, Edna Atwood (Tommy) of Princeton, Melissa Wilkerson (Justin) of Princeton and April McDaniel (Mike) of Henderson. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
