She was predeceased by: her husband Derwood Mitchell; her parents, William Thomas and Mary Hazel P'Pool Merrick; and her siblings, Aline Wood, Mildred Mitchell, Richard, Archie and Thomas Merrick.
She is survived by: her son Roger Mitchell (Cecile) of Princeton; her siblings, Pearl Dixon of Henderson, Lillian Hale of Hopkinsville, Katherine Keefer of Maidens, VA, Linda Currin of Chattanooga, TN, James Merrick of Graves County, Randall Merrick of Princeton and Don Merrick of Graves County; her granddaughters, Rachel Mitchell and Amanda Irwin (Tim); and her great grandchildren, Makayla Rae Irwin, Brady Mitchell Irwin, Connor Wilson Irwin and Daniel Wyatt Mitchell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
