He is survived by: his wife Nancy Salings-Schmidt; his daughters, Kari Wilcher (Billy Ray) of Murray and Karla Harness (David) of Elizabethtown; his stepchildren, John Coleman (Meg) of Central, Rachel Coleman of Corydon, IN and William Coleman of Central, IN; his brother Kenneth Schmidt (Lisa); his grandchildren, Annabel, Claire Wilcher, Hayes, Reid Harness, Logan, Owen, Olivia, Willow Coleman, Hunner, Lucas Anderson, Elias Stallins, Penelope Coleman, Kingston Thomas and Kyler Coleman; and his nieces, Andrea Sherrill (Zach) of Henderson and Alison Lankheit (Dave) of Henderson.
