She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Halbower and Eupha Patterson Halbower; her husband George E. Brown; her son Mark Brown; and her siblings, Katerine Gotts, Norman, Byron and Bill Halbower.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joy Gorsky (Ted) of Indianapolis, IN, Ruth Gerhardt of Geneseo, IL and Melody Brown (Don Scattergood) of Princeton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
