She was predeceased by: her father Jack (Lucy Oliver Blackburn); and her brothers, Ralph and Dale Blackburn. She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Shore (Joe) of Princeton and Dickie Thomas (Vivian) of Campbellsville; her grandchildren, Shannon Clark (Chris) of Campbellsville and Rachel Messamore (Troy) of Princeton; and her great grandchildren, Abby, Ethan, Cameron, Blair and Christian. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morgan's Funeral Home (301 W Washington St, Princeton, KY 42445).
Her commitment to her community was further evidenced by her over 60 years of membership at Ogden United Methodist Church, her active involvement in the John Caldwell Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and her contributions to the Friends of the Library and Historical Society.
