He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ann Winters McDowell; his sons, Jeffrey McDowell (Lori) of Lyon County and Brent McDowell of Caldwell County; his grandchildren, Ethan McDowell, Austin McDowell, Alexis Stewart, Caleb McDowell and Joshua McDowell; his stepgrandchild Lauren Stevens of Jordan Stevens; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Darian Stevens and Maggie Rhodes.
