He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Floppy" Brennan and Virginia Rose Groves Brennan; his son Michael Dean Brennan; his brother Don Tabor; and his father-in-law James "Jockey" Cartwright.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Cartwright Brennan; his children, Stephanie Brennan Hallum (Jason) of Caldwell County, Michelle Brennan of Caldwell County, Mary Ann Brennan Baker of Caldwell County and James William "Willie" Brennan of Caldwell County; his grandchildren, Jacob Hallum, Matthew Hallum, Cole Baker and Olivia Baker; his great grandchildren, Michele Hallum and Caiden Hallum; his siblings, Linda Rose Crenshaw (David) of Caldwell County, Jim Brennan (Brandy) of Chicago, IL. and Charles Brennan (Bertha) of Princeton; and his mother-in-law Mary Capps Cartwright. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
