He was predeceased by: his parent Gray Shy. He is survived by: his children, Valesha Watson and Kamarya Prather; his siblings, Craig Shy, Robert Shy (Cheryl), Anthony Shy, Vivian Bradley (Marco), Georgia and Stephanie Shy Walker; and his stepchildren, Robert Poindexer (Veronica) and Tianna Hall.
