She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Sherman and Cumilla Imogene Lantrip (Oliver); her son Robert Lee Mitchell, Jr.; her siblings, Gladys Marie Sims, Mamie Allen and Ronnie Ray Lantrip, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Megan Ray Mitchell and Matthew Austin Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy McWaters (Sam) of Ashland City, TN, Vickie Wright (Pat) of Princeton, Leslie Mitchell of Princeton and Michael Ray Mitchell of Princeton; and her sisters, Mary Bryson of Arnold, MO, Betty Gordon of Indianapolis, IN and Linda Driver of Draffenville, KY. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
