He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Morgan and Jane Morgan. He is survived by: his wife Betty Castle Morgan; his children, Kathy Jackson Parsons (Vince), Rod Morgan, Rhonda Morgan and Michelle Osborne (Jeff); his grandchildren, Tyler Fleet Johnson (Kari), Zachary Oliver Dingus (Veronica), Meaghan Headon, Callie Corrigan, Caleb Owens, Heather Osborne (Jacob) and Rod Wayne Morgan; and his sisters, Shirley Morgan, Barbara Vandergriff and Judith Myers (Rodney). He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, as well as many lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Home (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel (807 S Mayo Trail, Paintsville, KY 41240). A burial was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at the Highland Memorial Park (551 Kentucky Rte 2275, Staffordsville, KY 41256).
