He is survived by: his wife Sonya Weaks Maynard; his children, Gordon Lee Maynard (Donna) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Renee Maynard (Paul Scott) of Louisville, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Lillian Brook Maynard and Colton Miles Maynard.
