He was predeceased by: his nephew Justin Ferrell. He is survived by: his parents, Jack Hackworth and Sandra Watkins Hackworth of Prestonsburg, Kentucky.; his wife Eva Montgomery Hackworth; his children, Sherman Jr. Hackworth (Amber) of Georgetown, Joshua Hackworth (Angelica) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky and Heather Quintana (Brandon) of Paintsville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Gracie Hackworth, Brandon Quintana Jr., Mykyra Carpenter, Jay Carpenter, Jermel Carpenter and Cassandra Carpenter; and his sisters, Donna Ferrell of Magoffin County and Patricia Bradley of Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Martin (7 Clinic Dr, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
