He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Goodman and Lily Waddle Goodman. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rose Mosier Goodman; and his children, Sam Leslie Goodman (Lora) of Burlington, Kentucky, Amy Lynn Osborne (Scott) of Union and Jennifer Rose Stewart (Rondall) of Prestonsburg, Kentucky. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 6:00 PM and on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Prestonsburg (234 S Lake Dr, Prestonsburg, KY 41653). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
