He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen and Alice Reynolds Allen; and his brother John Allen Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sarah B. "Sally" Allen; his children, Robert R. Allen II (Kathy) of Prestonsburg, KY and Rachel E. Allen of Prestonsburg, KY; his siblings, David D. Allen of Lexington, KY, Stephen R. Allen (Terri) of Lexington, KY, Judith McCreary of Prestonsburg, KY and Mary Alice Leslie (David Richard); and his grandchildren, Robert R. III, Wilson Kingsley, Christina Elizabeth and Rebekah Suzanne. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
