He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Scott and Dorothy Day Scott; his wife Ella Parker Scott; and his siblings, James Scott, Sophie Scott Shaffer, Rush Scott and Nora Scott Wooten.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Bryan Scott and Rebecca Wells; his grandchildren, Ricky John Wells (Lisa) and Victoria Eliz Turner (Jeremy); his great grandchild Ricky Wyatt Wells; and his siblings, Lotsie Scott, Charles Scott, Margie Hale and Dora Steinberg.
